Bahasa Inggris : Present Continous Tense

Materi yang akan saya bagikan kali ini adalah bahasa inggris tentang Present Continous Tense. Kalo gak salah ini materi kelas 7 semester 1. Ya udah, daripada basa - basi terus, langsung aja ya ke materinya. Mudah - mudahan bermanfaat.

1.           Present Continuous Tense

Fungsi :

menyatakan aktivitas yang sedang berlangsung, pada masa kini/sekarang

Structure :

   (+)   S + be (am/is/are) + V1 + ing + O

(-)   S + be + not + V1 + ing + O

(?)   Be + S + V1 + ing + O ?

Time :

today, now, right now, at the moment, at the time, just right now

Example :

(+)  I am writing a letter today

(-)  I am not writing a letter today

(?)  Am I writing a letter today ?

2. Simple Future Tense

Fungsi :

Menyatakan aktivitas di masa mendatang

Structure :

(+)   S + will/shall + V1 + O

       S + be (am/is/are) + going to + V1 + O

(-)   S + will/shall + not + V1 + O

       S + be (am/is/are) + not + going to + V1 + O

(?)   Will/shall + S + V1 + O ?

       Be (am/is/are) + S +  going to + V1 + O ?

Time :

Tomorrow, next week, next month, the day after tomorrow, tonight

Example :

(+)  Dina will visit her uncle tomorrow

      I am going to go to Bali next holiday

(-)  Dina will not visit her uncle tomorrow

      I am not going to go to Bali next holiday

(?) Will Dina visit her uncle tomorrow ?

      Am I going to go to Bali next holiday ?

3.           Simple Past Tense

Fungsi :

Untuk menuliskan kalimat yang terjadi di masa lampau

Structure :

(+)  S + V2 + O

(-)  S + did + not + V1 + O

(?)  Did + S + V1 + O ?

Time :

Yesterday, last night, two days ago, last year, the day before yesterday

Example :

(+)   We went to Sanur beach last holiday

(-)   We did not go to Sanur beach last holiday

(?)   Did we go to Sanur beach last holiday ?

4.           Simple Present Tense

Fungsi :

untuk menyatakan kebiasaan/kegiatan sehari-hari

Structure :

 (+)  S ( I, you, we, they )  + V1 + O

      S ( he, she, it ) + V1 + s/es + O

(-)  S ( I, you, we, they )  + don’t + V1 + O

      S ( he, she, it ) + doesn’t + V1  + O

(?)  Do + S ( I, you, we, they )  + V1 + O ?

      Does + S ( he, she, it ) + V1  + O ?

Time :

-         always = selalu

-         every morning = tiap pagi

-         usually = seperti biasanya

-         never = tidak pernah

-         ever = pernah

-         often = sering

-         seldom = jarang

-         generally = biasanya

-         once a week = seminggu sekali

-         twice a week = dua kali seminggu

-         three times a term = tiga kali satu semester

-         every Sunday

Example :

(+)  She always gets up early

(-)  She doesn’t get up early

(?)  Does she get up early ?
